Lee’s Summit ranks #4 for the 10 best cities to live in, in the Midwest. The survey looked at the 100 most populated cities for this survey and was conducted by homesnacks. The cities at the top are places where things are going swimmingly right now, at least according to data, which measures what people are looking for in a city.
Downtown Lee’s Summit has a unique variety of over 40 specialty retail shops plus several options for casual dining and entertainment. A recently completed streetscape project has transformed downtown with street lights, banners, new trees, and landscaping. It received the Great American Main Street Award in 2010.
